Teaching Assistant – Nursery – Dubai
Overview
Currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant for a small family run nursery in Dubai. The role is varied.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for direction and overall supervision of young children. Work cooperatively with the lead teacher.
Duties:
- Work with teaching team in all activities, including but not limited to: housekeeping, diapering, toilet training and meal service and record keeping
- Share responsibility in the preparation of Daily Plans and the preparation of teaching materials
- Conduct daily small-group activities for an assigned group of children,
- Assume responsibility for a classroom at any given time
- Collects required anecdotes and information for required ongoing assessments
- Observe and/or participate in parent-teacher conferences
- Provide coverage for breaks for other staff members
- Supervise daily lunch and playground activities, field trips and walks
- Promote individualized attention for children by freeing teachers from routine duties
Skills and Experience
- relevant experience in a nursery
- Creative, Involved and cooperative
Qualifications
- Bachelor in any field/ SSE (attested)
- Cache level 2 certification (attested)
Other Requirements
- Own visa, husband's or father's visa
- This position is subject to appropriate safeguarding and background checks. The successful applicant will be required to provide a valid UAE Police Clearance Certificate (Certificate of Good Conduct), where applicable, and may also be required to provide police clearance or criminal record checks from other countries in which they have previously lived or worked.
