• Provide a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for young children.
• Contribute to planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
• Monitor and record the progress of each child, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

• Supervise meals and mealtimes and where appropriate.
• Ensure that the allergy and dietary requirements of all children within the nursery are adhered to.
• Ensure the safety and welfare of the children at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Conduct daily health and safety checks of the room and equipment.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and report any concerns to the designated safeguarding lead.
• Adhere to all nursery policies and procedures.

•  Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment.
•  Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development.
•  Support the Room Leader in the daily running of the nursery room.
•  Build positive relationships with parents and caregivers.
•  Perform any other duties as required by the Room Leader or Nursery Manager.

• Physical demands include lifting, carrying, and moving children and equipment.
•  A good understanding of the EYFS Framework.

• Current Paediatric First Aid certification.
• Current Safeguarding certification.
• Current COSHH certification.

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
